At Allseas I was asked to set up a courses about hydraulics for Allseas employees. This resulted in three proposals:
- Basic course: Learning about the basics of hydraulics, hydraulic symbols, components and diagrams
- Advanced course: Learning the basic calculations of hydraulics, basic knowledge of a hydraulic engineer
- Specialist course: Specific knowledge for experts, like secondary hydraulics, parallel movements and simulations
The Basic Course Hydraulics was finished at the beginning of 2018. The textbook and presentations are well received by the participants, along with the practical examples given during the course.
The advanced course was finished in 2022, a pilot was done at the end of 2022 and is currently added to the Learning & Development catalogue for Allseas personnel.
The specialist course is covered by the articles I wrote in my spare time.
